* SOLID WASTE INFORMATION*

At this time the Board of Supervisors apologize for the inconvenience and inconsistency with the garbage pick up days, and also the residents that have been missed for the last couple of weeks. After deep discussion between the Supervisors and Arrow Disposal, they have came to a conclusion to hopefully resolve this garbage issue.

Starting tomorrow-- January 26, 2024 -- the county will have 2 extra trucks running routes that have been missed over the last few weeks. We have each call notated for this purpose, to try and resolve these issues as smoothly, and quickly as possible. The county will have a total of 5 garbage trucks running, 3 will be running their normal "original" routes (listed below), while the other 2 extra trucks will cover those that have been missed up until today-- January 25, 2024.

If your garbage was missed this week ( on its original pick up day) , please put it out tomorrow (Friday--January 26, 2024), if it is not picked up tomorrow, it will be picked up either Saturday or Sunday by one of the extra 2 trucks.

With this being said, all pick up routes are going back to their "original" assigned pick up days due to all the confusion.

Pick up days will be as followed by your ORIGINAL "assigned" pick up day:

  • Mondays>>>>>>>>>Monday
  • Tuesdays>>>>>>>> Tuesday
  • Wednesdays>>>>>>Wednesday
  • Thursdays>>>>>>>>Thursday
  • Friday>>>>>>>>>>> Friday

Thank you,

Scott County Board of Supervisors
