The Scott County Community Development Department is responsible for carrying out the functions of the County as it relates to the execution or enforcement of any applicable developmental ordinances adopted by the County, including permitting, code enforcement, and related activity.
The goal of the department is to foster beneficial development within the unincorporated areas of Scott County to encourage and maintain a safe, appealing, and pleasant environment for residents, businesses, and visitors of the county.
